You responded and we listened! Based on the overwhelming response in our Survey Monkey survey for training needs, we have moved quickly and partnered with Dr. John Paul of Transform Compost Systems to deliver the Compost Facility Operator Course. We have opted to make the Sheraton Vancouver Airport our facility of Choice for 2012 as it scored highest for ease of access from all parts of BC and the Yukon. Are you or your staff adequately equipped and trained to operate your compost facility? This intensive three-day course provides a comprehensive understanding of the composting process and of the operational, technical, environmental, and legal issues related to large scale composting of organic waste material. The course includes a copy of the new Compost Facility Operator Training Manual, written by Drs. John Paul and Dieter Geesing - as available through the Compost Council of Canada. The course is recommended for Composting Facility Operators and Managers, Consultants, Suppliers of Compost Equipment and Public Officials involved in organic waste management. The course instructor will be Dr. John Paul. Dr. Paul has been specializing in composting and organic waste management for more than 20 years. The course is a hands-on training program, with practical exercises, and a field trip. Click here for details and registration form.. |
